Care after laser surgery
Want to get rid of your tattoo faster?

Contrary to popular belief, the pigment is not removed by the laser device, but by your body! The laser breaks the tattoo ink into microparticles, which are then flushed out of the body by your lymphatic system.
Therefore, it is very important to keep your immune system in good shape. The healthier you are, the faster your body will respond to the process.
Here are some great tips for you:
- DRINK A LOT OF WATER - The broken microparticles are gradually eliminated naturally by the human body's lymphatic system. This also triggers the immune system, which works better if it is sufficiently hydrated.
- MASSAGE THE TREATED AREA DAILY - One of our favorite tips for naturally increasing blood flow and lymph movement in the treated area.
- EAT HEALTHY - The human body's immune system plays a vital role in any healing process. The same applies to laser tattoo removal. Therefore, focus on eating nutritious foods.
- EXERCISE DAILY - Exercise is a great way to speed up the tattoo removal process. Physical activity increases blood flow, which is one of the key parts of the removal process.
- GET ENOUGH REST - It is well known that lack of sleep significantly suppresses the body's defenses, so make sure you get enough sleep.
- USE A NURTURING CREAM - To speed up the healing process, we recommend BALM LASER cream or LA ROCHE POSAY CICAPLAT B5 - on the treated area twice a day. This balm helps to soothe skin irritation, tension and redness. At the same time, it protects the skin and restores the natural skin barrier function.
What to expect after laser tattoo removal

Frost
- Immediately after the procedure, you may notice that the tattoo has turned white in the treated area.
- This reaction, called frost, means that the ink is reacting to the laser.
- You don't have to worry – it is only temporary and will go away within a few minutes.
Redness and swelling
- You will likely experience some redness and swelling after the treatment.
- This is a completely normal side effect of laser tattoo removal.
- It often looks worse than it actually feels!
- A cold compress, such as ice wrapped in a cloth (towel), can help relieve the pain.
Blisters
- You may experience a few blisters after the laser treatment – don't panic.
- This is a normal part of the healing process, especially for larger tattoos or those with red, orange and yellow colors.
Sensitive skin
- The skin may be more sensitive for a week after the procedure.
- We recommend using our balm to make the healing process as comfortable as possible.
Scabs
- Scabs may not look the best, but they mean that your skin is healing properly.
- They can appear 8 to 72 hours after the treatment and often have ink residue in them.
- When they fall off, part of the tattoo will come off with them.
- An important rule – don't pick, don't peel! You could end up with scars.
Itching
- As your skin heals, your tattoo may start to itch.
- This is completely normal – your body is getting rid of the ink.
What can you take from this?
- Most of these symptoms, including blisters, are evidence that your body is working as it should.
- While it may not be the most pleasant, it is a good sign that your tattoo is gradually fading!
